What we believe We believe:
· in God that revealed Himself as one „I Am” in Trinity – as Father, Son and the Holy Ghost; (Mat 3,16-17; Mat 28,19; 2Kor 13,13; John 10,30; John 14,16; John 14,26; 1 Peter 1,2)
· that the whole Bible is infallible, as a Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit; (2Tim 3,16; 2 Peter 1,19-21; 1Thess 2,13)
· in the eternal life with God and eternal damnation without Him; (Rev 21,4; 1 John 3,2; 2Kor. 5,6-8; Fillip 1,21-24; 2 Thess 1,8-9, Mat 10,28; Luke 16,23-24; Mat 8,12; Daniel 12,2)
· in death of Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of all mankind and in his resurrection in flesh (Isa 53,1-6; Mat 18,11; Mat 20,28; Luke 4, 18-19; 1 John 3,5-8; Mat 12,40; Mat 17,9; Mat 17, 22-23; Mat 18,11; Mark 8,31, Mat 28, 1-9)
· in reality of experience of being born again; (John 3,3; John 1,12; Rom 10,13; 1 Peter 1,23)
· in salvation by God’s grace, free, for every human being through faith in the offering Jesus made on the cross; (Rom 10,9; John 1, 12; Rom. 6,23; Isa 53, 1-6; John 10, 27-28; Ephes 2,8-9; Rev 3,20; Rom 3, 23-24; Rom 5,8)
· in baptism in the Holy Spirit and accompanying it gifts of the Spirit, speaking in tongues and many different (Acts 2,2-3; 1Kor 6,19; 1Kor 12,8-11; Rom 12,6-8)
· in the physical and spiritual healing through faith in Jesus Christ; (Isa 53,4-5; Mat 8,17; 1Peter 2,24; Exodus 15,26; Ps103,3-5; Jam 5, 13-16)
We practise:
· water baptism through immersion, which is an outward sign of an inward cleansing and new life (Mat 28,19; Rom 6,3-4; Kol 2,12; Gal 3,27; Acts 2,38)
· the Lord’s Supper, consisting of elements, bread and wine, as a remembrance of Jesus Christ offering and an act which unifies the Church. We also believe that during the Supper we touch the reality of Golgotha. That’s why it is so important to attend it being „worthy”. “For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself" – in the Greek original the word used here is the same word that appears when spiritual gifts are enumerated and discerning spirits is mentioned (1 Cor 11, 29). It means that we should treat the Lord’s Supper more seriously than as a symbol and we should discern what happens in the spirit. The Supper is not a process of transubstanation but is something more than a mere symbol and remembrance. “For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes” (v.26). Can a symbol proclaim the Lord’s death? For sure it cannot. The Supper is therefore a specific spiritual reality which reminds devil of the fact he was defeated on the cross. We should remember that the reality of the Supper is not brought automatically, through the rite, but only through faith. The limits on participating in the Supper are set by the maturity of a believer, still everyone should judge himself before taking part in it. Children’s participation is decided by their parents. It is not limited by the denomination or water baptism (1 Cor 11:26; Luke 22,17-20).
· the Sunday service is held according to the fourth commandment about the Lord’s day, Shabbat (Exodus 21, 8; stressed by Hebr 10, 25). During the service we always practise worshipping God according to Jesus words "hollowed be your name" (The Lord’s Prayer). The word „hallowed” denotes amusement, party in one’s honour, event. Bible says that „God dwells in praise of his people” that is why this part of service is for us crucially important. “ For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.” (Ps.84,10; NewKJV)
Every person who accepted Jesus as a personal Saviour and Lord and is born again is our brother/sister regardless of his/her denomination. JESUS – THE ONLY MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN
The Mighty God sacrificed His only Son for every one of us, because He wants us to live with Him forever. John 3,16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3,17-18 „For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son” Jesus forgives us our sins because He loves us and wants to save us ALL.
2 Peter 3,9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Luke 24,47 “and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” Jesus came into the world to lead us to God and to reveal Him. He is the only mediator between God and people and Bible says there is no other mediator! John 14,6 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
1 Tim 2,5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” It means that God listens to our prayers by and only by mediation of Jesus Christ! Whole Bible speaks that no other prophet, no other man or woman, on earth or already in heaven cannot be prayed to. God fulfils our prayer requests only in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. John 14,13 “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.” 1 Tim 2,5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,”
Jesus promised that He will pray and mediate for us in heaven.
1 John 2, 1 “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defence --Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”
Rom 8, 34 “Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us..”
Hebr 7, 25 “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.” What’s more – in His Name we can ask God for everything – for healing, casting out demons, remission of sins. Not only Jesus but we as well, all the believers, praying for each other in the name of Jesus, we will be heard and we’ll be able to carry the healing and deliverance.
John 14,12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father..”
Mark 16,17 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;” John 16,24 “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”
John 20,31 “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name..”
1 Cor 1,13 “Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?”
1 John 3,23 “And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.”
With Jesus we can do all. He gives us a new life and it’s not just a vain cliché. We really are born again! 2 Cor 5,17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
We start a new life and like a child we need to learn how to “walk”. Still we cannot deserve salvation by our works. We need faith that comes only as a gift of God. We won’t achieve salvation by any kind of man-made actions.
Eph 2,8- 10 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Mat 7,21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
Luke 6,46 "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?”
We have to believe in God and this faith leads us to knowing Him. Thanks to the faith we can have a relationship with Him and when we have it, we hear His voice, discern His will and in effect we are producing good works. They are the fruit of faith.
A Christian is a person like Christ, similar to Him, belonging to Him. We need to change are character to start being like Him, loving like Him, thinking, looking, listening and understanding. It’s not enough to perform good works. We need to pray, fulfil the will of God, live according to His commandments and in result perform goodness. All of that gives us salvation. We can grant it here on earth! John 5,24 „ I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”
To be saved we need to believe in Jesus. God still talks to us through His word in the Bible (John 5,24). So every Christian should every day try to know God better and better and listen to Him through his Holy Scripture.
1 Peter 1,25 „but the word of the Lord stands forever. And this is the word that was preached to you..”
1 Peter 2,1-2 „ Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation”
Rom 10,9-13 „That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.".” Giving Your life to Jesus is a decision. We encourage You to pray this short prayer: Dear Jesus, I call on Your Name. I am a sinner and I can’t change alone and get rid of my dirt. Please, forgive me all my sins. I repent and I don’t want to live like that anymore. I believe in what Bible says, that You are the Son of God and that You died for me and was resurrected. I proclaim You my only Saviour and Lord of my life. I invite You for every day and every matter in my life. Devil cannot rule anymore, nor sin, because You, Jesus, are my Lord. I believe that You are giving me Your salvation now and I thank You with all of my heart!
